In this unit I have learnt how to look and what to look for when deciding what course book to use for my class, the difference between authentic and created materials as well as examples of flash cards and activities I can use to help the students practice. I have seen that it is very important to not over use the course book provided or selected because it could be boring and predictable to the students and as the teacher I could become less motivated if I only relied on the books.
