In this unit common problem situations are discussed. A number of different activities that a teacher can use for a beginner class include questionnaire or surveys, need analysis etc. In order to create fun and interest of students, warmers such as tongue twisters, hangman, pictionary etc should be used. For a successful lesson while teaching large classes emphasis should be on use of worksheets, choral practice, pair work, clarity, dynamics of classroom and taking assistance from some of the students while handing over photocopies and worksheets etc.This was a good section for me and taught me that there are actually three different kinds of phrasal verbs and how you can execute them properly in a sentence. I'm glad I learned about this because many learners of English have told me this is a big hurdle for them in the process of achieving fluency and accuracy in a language. I also learned about the various uses of modal verbs as well as direct and indirect speech in more depth which can express the degree of certainty, obligation, or where to put focus on, the performer or receiver of the action.
