I have taught in China for a few years and have seen different types of students and teachers in class. Most have all been beginners and elementary level children. The roles used in class are very important per particular exercise and should be used appropriately, as stated in unit 1. Trying to find a balance can get a bit tricky due to some students whom I've taught for years and the newer (never spoken Before) students that get lumped into the same age level class. Which why I respect the comment on spending some extra time on those individuals whom feel a little lost with the current lessons to make them more comfortable and excited about learning the current content. I also strongly agree on that the teacher should be all qualities stated in the first paragraph otherwise lack of control, attention and desire to learn can be deeply affected. Good teacher = good students. Unit 1 has been a good source of review but also has been very informative. I look forward to the following unit :-)
