In Unit 1 I have learnt that a teacher can take up various roles in the classroom. Each role the teacher takes on will allow the students to grow in their learning process. I have also learnt that good students are directly related to one's skills as a teacher. To have good students one must be a good teacher. Being a good teacher will involve knowing when and how to use different roles in the classroom environment.
I have also learnt that students have different motivations because of Age and also because of their level of ability. Culture also plays a role in the learning process. It is therefore very important to assess what level your students are at and also keep in mind their age and culture when planning how to go about teaching your students.
