Unit 2 has been an insight into different parts of speech of the english language. All words can be classified by their meaning in a sentence they are used in. Some words can only be one part of speech (e.g. 'the' is always an article) but the meaning of some words can completely change depending on the meaning of the word in the sentence (e.g. 'smell' could be used as a verb or a noun) so it is very important to learn the parts of speech so that words are correctly convey their meanings within sentences.
