This unit was helpful in showing the subtle changes that native English speakers rarely realize when reporting speech. It also shined light on conditional speech, and how the misuse of just a single word can alter the entire meaning of the sentence. I can imagine that these lessons are not easily learned by young students with little experience in the English language, so this lesson might be more helpful if I find myself teaching business professionals.The techniques learned to control and administer a classroom will be enhanced with the time and experience that a beginning teacher acquires.
It is important that this teacher has pedagogical support and always talk with professionals with the expertise to improve these techniques. The teacher needs to be updating himself with new methods of teaching and mastery of new technologies, to captivate and be an example to the students, making learning efficient.
