Through this course, the main thing I have gained is confidence that teaching english as foreign language is something I that can do and enjoy doing. After each unit I gained a little more confidence and a little more knowledge in areas of grammar and other tefl issues. The Engage Study Activate (ESA) system of planning lessons was revolutionary for me, making lesson planning seem not so over-whelming. I like how the ESA structure can be used for all levels. Having an overarching game plan for developing lessons like ESA will be essential for organizing lessons and helping me structure classes.
