This unit covered a number of things. First we talked about conditionals. I had actually never learned about this part of speech before so it was quite helpful for me. We defined each of the five conditions, and then matched them with sentences. As well we learned about reported speech and direct speech. Different parts of speech must be changed when reporting what someone said. An example of this would be ¨will¨ in direct speech becoming ¨would¨ is reported.This unit was on teaching special groups, such as beginners, children, businesses, and individuals.
I learned the each group comes with their own challenges and need for adjusting the lesson plan. However, each special group can come with unique experiences and opportunities. For example, teaching children can be fun with high energy, and teaching individuals can be more beneficial to the student as the lesson plan is catered to his specific needs and interests.
