Throughout this lesson I have learned about the role and qualities of a good teacher. I also learned about the qualities of a good learner,the differences between age groups and how they all learn differently. Finally, I learned about students levels of fluency and accuracy they have while they start to study a new language. The unit actually provides very basic, common sense information. It does, however, provide this information in a way that helps keep it organized; and therefore is a great reference. I quite enjoyed the roles of a teacher, and believe that I learned the most from this part of the unit. From unit one, I have learned the varying levels of English language proficiency that international students possess. I have also learned characteristics and and qualities that good teachers possess in the classroom.
