This unit has been about teaching receptive skills: Listening and reading. Both are equally important and have their challenges to teach. The main things I learned from this unit was to ensure you very carefully choose your text or dialouge to make sure it is not too hard or easy. The students can become discouraged if it is not within their ability. If required it is impotant to pre-teach any vocabulary they may not know and is important to understanding.
