For me, it is very important to be prepared for a lesson. When teaching non-native speakers about a different language than their own, it is easy to lose track of what we want them to learn by the end of the day. Having a lesson prepared can help me get back on track whenever that happens. While having a lesson plan, I must also be flexible to the students' needs at the time of discussion. A perfect balance with preparing and being flexible is the best way to carry out lessons on a class.
