The course material covered English grammar in a very succinct manner; I cannot imagine this material being covered in a smaller space. The main points I learned regard things I just know, but didn't know there were specific rules (or guidelines) for. The fact that it is words with multiple syllables get the 'more' or 'most' as opppsed to '-er' or '-est' was particularly useful. That '-ing' has a Name (gerund) was interesting. That there is a noted difference between transitive and intransitive verbs was also news to me.
