Unit fourteen looks at course books and lesson materials. In this unit study materials are divided into two main categories namely authentic and created materials. Authentic materials features a wide range of materials that is to say basically almost anything a native speaker would hear or read, not very useful for beginners. Contrast, created materials are graded to the level of some specific students. This unit also throws light on some of the important factors that should be taken into accounts when choosing material and it also provides advise on the best use of course books.
