This lesson was helpful because it provided some examples and ideas for planning a class. It discusses what structures may be helpful for conducting a class, but it also addresses the significance of encouragement, as well as keeping students engaged. There are so many different methodologies to be aware of, and no single method is the ?correct method.? Combining and experimenting with these different methods will be extremely helpful to know about when teaching a class. It was also helpful to learn about correction, and how overcorrecting can actually be a negative. It is more important to encourage students than to correct every single mistake they make. This unit also helped me to identify which mistakes are absolutely necessary to correct, while others are not necessarily as important.
