This unit covered the qualities of a good teacher as well as good learner. I found it interesting to consider the various factors that influence the environment of a classroom based on the interactions and roles of both teacher and learner. The more we understand about our students and their motivations the better equipped we are to enable them as learners. This unit also summarised the varying levels of English learners, which is crucial to understand when planning lessons so that the language and activites are targeted correctly.
