This unit gives a basic introduction on what makes a good teacher, as well as what makes a good learner, why these learners may be motivated to learn English and how a teacher has to adapt their skills based on the language level their students may possess. This unit has helped me learn about some of the broader requirements of being an ESL teacher, as well as providing a greater idea on what to expect from those I teach.
