In this unit I learned about the basic skills necessary to learn any language, receptive skills. It is important for these basic skills to be pointed out to us in this course because we must try to engage our students in both receptive and productive skills in order to have a successful approach in the classroom. Although there are many way to approach a lesson, it is important to be aware of receptive skills and incorporate them in our lessons whenever possible.
