This unit was very instructive. Some of the things the teacher does in the first lesson are so obviously wrong, it seems silly, but I have actually had teachers who have behaved in each of these ways -- maybe it wasn't quite as obvious as in the video, but there are definite similarities. The second video starts off with such a nice, welcoming smile from the instructor, who then asks for and uses each of the students' names, that I knew it would be a much better lesson than the first one.
