This unit named and discussed common pieces of equipment found in a classroom and frequently-used teaching aids. The uses, benefits and shortcomings of each item were discussed. Having an education background and some classroom experience, many of the things discussed seemed intuitive to me. That being said, I think it was beneficial to discuss what seems like outdated technology, since it may still be in use in other parts of the world and people unfamiliar with them due to age or teaching in a tech-savvy environment may or many not have considered these things. I think I benefited immensely from the list of online resources. I take on too much and sometimes you just need to find or adapt someone else's idea, because producing on demand causes quality to suffer. I'm excited to see what these resources have to offer and how I can use them in my practice.
