This unit has reminded me of the intricacies that the English language has. Today I learned about the four different types of present tense sentences and also that there are many irregular words that don't follow set rules. These words must simply be learned and practiced with over time to learn effectively. I also learned some effective activities to use in the classroom during the Activate stage.
