I am currently an Assistant Language Teacher in japan constantly looking for ways to improve my skills. I want to apply for a TEFL course because it will not only improve my skills as a foreign language teacher, but also better my understanding of the English language, my confidence in the classroom and my teaching technique within a team-teaching setting. I hope to improve on current abilities, better in creating effective and creative lessons, answer any grammatical questions with ease and ultimately grow as a teacher. I wish to further my career in TEFL and I believe that having this qualification will open the door to more challenging work and opportunities worldwide.
