This unit was about the basic characteristics of teachers and students and the qualities which make them either good or bad. It also presented an overview of the challenges facing both teachers and students of a new language, as well as the different degrees of language proficiency that students have. I have learned that teachers have many different roles to play while they are teaching, and students respond differently to each style, all of which are useful in different situations.
