Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!
This unit covered basics of what is expected of a teacher as well as different roles a teacher must provide in order for students to learn correctly. In addition to that, this unit also covered the different levels of proficiency in a language, as well as some of the barriers a teacher may face with different groups of students. In this unit, they talk about what is a good teacher and what is the different between ages when learning. What I've learn is that a good teacher is to care more about students learning then teaching, have subject knowledge, and should know the students weaknesses. Students ages matter in teaching because they have different motivation, experiences, and behavior. This unit very nicely describes what to look for in one's own motivation in teaching English and thus is very helpful in focusing on what my motivation is. I live in Jordan at present and many of the locals here are very interested in learning English and I am very interested in helping them
