This unit was particularly interesting & useful because it covered a subject that is so familiar to myself and all native English speakers, but also a subject that most people do not know how to explain in detail. I personally don't always know how to break apart the sentences I use even though I, like other native speakers, use perfect grammar all the time. I feel like this is one of the most important topics to cover in preparing to become an English language teacher because it is so simple, yet at the same time so difficult. It is absolutely crucial to be able to explain things like grammar to students of English. It is unfortunate, however, that English grammar is so confusing and often inconsistent with it's own rules. I came away from this unit feeling very refreshed in my knowledge of grammar!
