Unit Two covered the basic structure of English grammar. Each word is categorized into either an Adverb, Verb Noun, Plural, Adjective, Conjunction, Preposition, Gerund, Pronoun and Article. With then some further categorized into even more specific groups. Learning the English Grammar rules, helps understand how we construct a sentence and what goes wrong when sentences are not built correctly. English grammar is exceptionally difficult to learn. As a native English speaker I have taken for granted the ease with which I use grammar and the skill it would take to master this as a second language. There are hardly any set rules and the rules we do have are broken much more frequently than they are followed! working through this session was quite interesting. Even though I know certain things through my speech but I never was aware of the rules that govern their usage. Example is box becoming boxes in plural form. I have learnt a number of rules from this and I'm happy for that.
