After learning this chapter, I figure out that there are so many different type of assessments I could apply into my teaching. I used to only use placement test and progress tests. Now I know that diagnostic tests could help me know the students at the beginning of the class and practice tests can help my students perform well in the external exam.This unit covers how to incorporate themes into teaching materials. From this unit, I have learned how to use a theme to teach a certain topic and how to identify materials that relate to the topic. I have also learned how to incorporate new teaching ideas into a classroom subject and identify what activities are appropriate for certain age groups.
