Unit 3 has helped teach my different ways to engage my students. I need to pay attention to the needs of my students and vary my lesson plans on that. By using different teaching styles and methods in my teaching, my students will be able to learn best. I also need to use the ESA model in my teaching to help my students retain the information.Unit three introduces some basic methodologies in language teaching and that helped me identify teaching and learning styles for certain activities. The ESA is also helpful, as it is like a road map directing how to pace the lesson. Concepts on why, how, who and what to correct are also helpful in developing my professional capacities and skills.
