Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit explains about the four different past tenses i.e. past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous tenses. Each tense has its affirmative, negative and question forms.
Also, it explains the common usages and common mistakes/errors of each tense.
For each tense, sample activate stage teaching ideas are also given.Reading and listening are the receptive that are equally important when learning a language. I liked how specific the unit broke down the different types and purposes of listening and reading. The task materials and the subsequent tasks were a great resource and practice in creating material and activities to develop and teach receptive skills.
