TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Tori

Tori completed the 120-hour TESOL certificate course as well as the business English course to further her education in English language teaching. In this TESOL review she tells us that as an English and Education university graduate Tori found that she had come across some of the theories covered in the courses before but also learned new theories and methodologies. She was also able to put the knowledge she learned on the courses to immediate use in her lessons in Japan.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

It was interesting learning about the lesson planning process while reflecting upon the lesson plans I was subject to as a former student. I like the idea of a flexible lesson plan as it leaves room for the class to ebb and flow organically. However, that should not undermine the importance of having a clear direction and set outcome for the class.Unit 9, lesson planning, ties together the previous unis of what content needs to be taught and how. While Engage, Study, Activate can be put in different orders to serve different purposes, but will overall cover one specific topic. Each stage is just as important as the last because the one before provides a base for the next phase of the lesson.
