In this unit i learned about the importance of the receptive skills reading and listening when teaching a new language. the unit also showed me the best ways to approach teaching these skills through using comprehension type tests where students can either read something or listen to information. It is also vital to cater to all students interests.This unit covers the various forms of the present tense in English. It explains the specific contexts in which each tense may be used, and highlights common errors. Finally, the unit provides sample \"activate stage\" teaching ideas that can be used in the classroom to help students practice the present tense concepts that they have just learned.
