I found this unit with the included videos very helpful, maybe more helpful than the continuous reading. I have now learned first hand how to have better class participation as well as how to introduce games, lessons, and other activities. I have learned that it takes time to adjust to teaching and adjusting needs to be done, but in a timely manner.This unit was helpful in showing me how to be confident and comfortable in front of a classroom of students. Things such as organising students, building rapport, and managing classroom behaviour/teacher talk time are all important with building a successful classroom environment. Unit 5 is something that I will come back to for future references.
