Tenses would take time to master. It would be easier if we would apply logic: ing would indicate it is some sort of continuous form. All perfect forms mean have + past participle. Therefore, the combination of the two, perfect continuous would equal have plus + been + ing. Simple past unless it is an irregular verb is usually formed by adding ed.This unit talks a lot about different types of tests, the importance of tests.
