She learned a lot of new information about teaching English as a foreign language that she can use with her students. Although her decision to take the course was a spontaneous one, she doesn’t regret that decision and is hoping to be able to travel to China to teach English and gain some new experiences.

Unit 7 is about teaching vocabulary, grammar and functions using the ESA structures: Straight Arrow Function, Patchwork and Boomerang. Explaining that it is important for a teacher to know what word to teach, or start teaching, Techniques for Teaching, what students need to know about Vocabulary Items,Grammatical Structures and Language Functions.The two receptive skills and reading and listening. Both are equal in their level of importance. There are different types of listening and reading skills such as: reading for a purpose, scanning, skimming and reading/listening for detailed information. When choosing topics, teachers should pick a variety of topics to keep the students engaged.
