Jo Ann took the 120-hour online TEFL course with tutor support from ITTT. In this TEFL review video Jo Ann tells how she completed the course in six weeks and despite not needing the tutor support, was glad that is was there if necessary. Jo Ann is now volunteering her time as an English tutor at her local library and plans to move to Santiago in Chile for a year to teach English. This unit was a bit tricky, as I imagine planning a lesson would be tricky. Nonetheless, I learned some good points. I learned how lessons should be planned and what's important to keep in mind when planning a lesson. The ESA straight arrow questions were tricky, but I see how important it is to include all the phases: engage, study, and activate. This unit was quite complicated, I have always had trouble remembering the difference between verbs, adjectives, nouns and so forth but this unit was easy to understand. Also this unit has taught me other grammatical components in which I didn't know English had, which I know now that's this new found information is going to help me in the future.
