During this lesson, I could learn how materials for the lesson turn to have a very important role and the way we manage them and use them, will define how effective the teaching and the trasmision of the knowledge would be. Books, no matter if they are coursebooks or lesson materials, will always be essential to give a better performance to our class.I found this unit interesting because, once again, things that we do automatically gets labelled and defined. The integration of cultural context to reading and understanding when listening will be crucial when teaching abroad, and the teacher will have to adapt and keep this in constant consideration to ensure students are engaged and not alienated.
