As a teacher of English there are many types of classes you could encounter. From beginners to a business company's employees a teacher must adapt to teaching these special groups. I will probably deal more within a monolingual class for I plan to go throughout southeast Asia. Possibly when I return to the States I could teach in a multilingual class.This unit was a nice reminder for me on the phonetic alphabet as I took a class on the phonetic alphabet in college. We spent countless hours translating the phonetic script to English and back. I like the ideas that this lesson gave me for teaching new English speakers pronunciation and the focus on the different areas of pronunciation and phonetics.
