Grammar can be intimidating even to a native speaker and even more so to the English as a second language student. I am not expected to know everything however I need to have skills in grammar to be an effective teacher. This unit was very informative for me. I did recall my lessons on grammar in my third grade class
while studying the information.Evaluating students is an important aspect in teaching because it helps both teacher and students to know how far they have gone, the progress they have made and what part they need to work on. I'm actually pleased with the various classification of test and their purpose. Like always, an example of a placement test was give which I think was good.
