The main point is to get to know your class, what their abilities, strengths and weaknesses are and tailor the class syllabus to suit the students needs.I have learned a lot from this unit. I learned about the different ways of teaching a language and that learning a language should be fun for the learners. There should be interesting activities that make the lesson fun but at the same time the teacher should see to it that the students are learning properly and that they understand the concepts.
