Tenses are the most interesting subject of all English grammar. However; to understand is a different matter. Even a good English non-native speaker makes mistakes in tense. The problem is listeners can understand although there is a mistake. Therefore, mistakenly used tense is usually overlooked. Learning about tense let us correct by ourselves.I haven't thought of the difference between receptive and productive skills. It's useful to have a unit specifically focused on how to enable students to get the most out of reading and listening. The example lesson plan and worksheet was also very helpful as well. I also thought the breakdown of the purposes of reading and listening was helpful.
