This TESOL review video was recorded by ITTT graduate Floyd. Floyd is from the USA but is currently living and working as an English teacher in Japan. Floyd took the 120-hour online course with tutor support as well as the teaching business English course and intends to take the Diploma course with ITTT in the future.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
The unit goes over all present tense configurations including present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. It discusses the formation of the configurations, what words are used and in what order. It discusses the uses of the configuration, what can be implied by using each. It also reviews typical student errors. This lesson was really great for me because I learned a lot about how we as teachers and educators should go about teaching in a way that helps students in our classroom learn regardless of class size or other factors like having a mixed ability classroom. It is really helpful to have these tips so that we can accommodate students from all backgrounds.
