This unit the four present tenses. Although I'm already familiar with most of the points laid down here, I thought it was useful to learn some specifics that I didn't know before. The differences in use between the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense as explained here gave me ideas on how to explain them to my own learners.In this unit I learnt about basic rules regarding modals and that they can be utilized to voice a number of different ideas including the following: obligation, possibility/probability, permission/prohibition, ability, and advice. The chart displayed in the lesson assisted in gaining knowledge of the uses, present/future, and past of auxiliary verbs.
