In this lesson, I learned various techniques and methods to teach students English as a foreign language. The techniques vary on language ability. I also learned that correction is not essential unless the error is made repeatedly, on a point of the language being taught, or the mistake seriously impedes the understanding of the class or student.This unit explained the past tenses, gave examples, and a few brief suggestions on how to explain the past tenses during a class. The usages for these tenses are a little more confusing and requires some thought as well as practice. I can see how learning this concept will be difficult for some ESL students, especially the lower level students.
