This unit reinforced the importance of vocabulary, grammar, and functions. It gave excelent examples on how to teach the material. I also really enjoyed the video, that brought what I read online to life and helped me understand the material. The videos gave really great classroom activities to do to teach the material that were fun and engaging.Unit 14 taught me the division of materials into authentic (newspapers,songs etc.) and created (crosswords, role-play cards etc.), their characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and how to mix them to teach well. The chapter also teaches me what I should consider when choosing the right course book and how to use it to achieve maximum benefits.
