This unit was very interesting. I found that it was helpful to learn how to teach vocabulary to classes. I'm really looking forward to teaching vocabulary in the classes I will have. It was interesting to learn of the different perspectives in teaching vocabulary. Also, the stages that were mentioned were very helpful in terms of lesson planning.I believe lesson planning, especially being a first time teacher, is very important as it will give me a basic structure and focus for the lesson. At the same time, as mentioned int his unit, it is important to be flexible and adaptable with your lessons, not sticking to a strict plan, and tailoring your lesson plans to the needs of the students.
