This unit combined two forms of grammar that could be very complicated for students. Although it was easy for me to follow the brief descriptions, there was a lot of information that I just carefully break down and present to my students. The videos were helpful as they gave more detail for situations using conditionals and demonstrated activities.In addition to providing simple guidance on the form of the different past tenses, the unit provided excellent explanations of when the different past tenses are used. As a native speaker of English and an English major, I was very familiar with the tenses; however, I found the explanations of when they are used to be very clear and very helpful.
