Akira took the 120-hr online TEFL course with tutor support and videos from ITTT. In this TEFL review video he talks about what he learned on the course, including better ways to plan his lessons and activities he can use in his classes. ITTT's TEFL/TESOL courses are not only well suited for students who have never taught before but are also a great way to refresh old skills for working teachers.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I enjoyed learning about different teaching methodologies, it is interesting to see how language instruction has evolved throughout the years and it is good to know what parts of each methodology could be useful and what their limitations are. Having a basic framework via the ESA method will be greatly helpful when it comes to starting to plan lessons. This is a very useful unit for me. It is the way how I usually teach my students. I did not know the terms receptive or productive skills, but I know that the basics of any languages are built on reading, listening, speaking abd writing. I have never thought a lot about reasons for reading\\listening skills in details. This unit was good enough. Thanks!
