TEFL 120-hour Course - Unit 8

This video diary entry outlines Chantelle’s experience of studying unit 8 of her online TEFL course. Unit 8 is another tense unit, this time looking at the future tenses. These include the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and the ‘going to’ future. It also covers how the present simple and present continuous can be used to talk about the future. In this unit you will learn how the tenses are formed and used and what some of the most common errors students make.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this unit i have got the understanding of future continuous, future perfect and knowing also knowing the teaching ideas, form and usage(e.g)like the future perfect tense is used to say that something will have been done completed or achieved by a particular timein the future. And also leanrt about the tense and there useges and when to apply them.I highly appreciated the contents of Unit 16. Conditional forms are quite a challenging subject for non-native English speakers. I think that a proper use of conditional forms can be considered as evidence of a good English knowledge. As per other grammar units, I found the explanation process very effective, also for future use in the classroom.
