This unit discussed about the various structures of the past tense and how they are used in a sentence to express a specific past action more clearly. I learned about the difference between regular and irregular verbs, as well as how to differentiate and use past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous tenses properly.As I have no experience in teaching the English language this is interesting to learn and test my own knowledge based on what I have learned. Most of the ideas presented in Unit 1 are correct and support my opinions of what an English teacher needs to know or what skills are required to be able to teach, either for young learners or adult ones.
