This unit is about pronunciation and phonology. It gives detail definition of intonation and articulation. This unit introduces phonemic alphabets and symbols. I have learned to read using phonetic script which can help me better understand and correctly pronounce the word. The task sheet are very helpful in giving me clear understanding of this unit.This unit has been the toughest thus far and more than a little confusing. The unit is very well detailed and explained relatively well. The material is informative and the video covered important areas. However, as a result of a wide range of nature versus nurture reasons such as accents and elongation of the tongue, the topic may need more drilling.
