How to Pronounce 'SPRACHGEFÜHL' - English Pronunciation

In this episode, we cover the pronunciation of the word sprachgefühl. This word refers to a person's intuitive ability to produce language in a natural way. Sprachgefühl is one of many Gernan words that found their way into the English language at the end of the 19th century. The word is a combination of sprache (language, speech) and gefühl (feeling).

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

The unit is about the past tenses. It cavers the four tenses past simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous in the form, usage, and some common errors and/or mistakes done by students. The unit teaches the techniques of presenting this grammar in the class. I learnt all above mentioned, but the strategies were more interesting to me.This unit was a good refresher for another key part of grammar. The most valuable parts of the lesson were the ideas that students may have trouble learning. It was a good refresher on the different names and properties of past tense words, although I do think a few more questions about teaching the tense should have been included in the test.
